Laval - Year-round fun!

Laval, c’est comme un immense parc d’amusement

Laval is one enormous playground! Whether in winter, spring, summer or fall, this city offers such a huge variety of things to do, see and taste that you’ll wonder where the time went.

And getting there couldn’t be easier, even without a car! Just hop on the orange metro line, get off at Montmorency and grab a ride on the 360 shuttle, which is free on weekends, holidays, during spring break and throughout the summer.

The route, which loops around the downtown area, brings you right into the heart of the action, where adventure beckons.

The stars of Place Bell

You could begin your getaway with a stop at Place Bell to check out the future stars of our province’s beloved hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens. Place Bell is home to the Laval Rocket, the AHL (American Hockey League) affiliate of the Canadiens. And this year, the club is brimming with promising prospects like Cayden Primeau, Josh Brook and Ryan Poehling, to name just a few.

With 10,000 seats, Place Bell is the third largest arena in Quebec. The team plays 38 games during the regular season, and each one makes for a great family outing, especially given the affordable ticket prices. By metro, bus or car, fans flock by the thousands to attend these exciting, high-octane games, which are renowned for their exhilarating atmosphere.

Managed by the event promoter Evenko, the arena offers a number of restaurants and also hosts concerts and other high-calibre cultural performances throughout the year.
